Here are some frequently asked questions by teachers and participants.

Does the program take place face-to-face or online?

The DEC4IR 2022 program is conducted entirely online.
What should participants and teachers do throughout this program?

An online briefing session will be held on 25-July 2022, at 2.30pm on the YouTube channel www.youtube.com/c/DroneEduChallengeIR40

The recording will be available on the Facebook page for those who cannot watch it live. www.facebook.com/droneeduchallenge.
Should students or schools have their own drones?

It is not necessary to have your own drone.
Participants need to fly a drone?

No need to fly a drone.
We have no experience in drones, can we join this program?

Can join and follow the program. No experience needed.
How to register?

When is the closing date for registration?

Please complete the registration on www.dec4ir.com before 13 JULY 2022.
Participation is by team, how many members are required?

ONE guidance teacher and TWO students from the same category & school only.
If I have only one participant, can I participate in DEC4IR?

Yes BUT you will not qualify for the finals without 2 members. You still need a mentor even if there is only one participant.
Do mentors need to have experience in drones?

No need. The mentor only needs to help manage the participants` participation and ensure that the participants fully follow the program.
Will teachers & participants get certificates? PAJSK score?

Yes, PAJSK scores will be calculated for participants who successfully follow the program. Teachers will get a certificate of appreciation, participants will get a certificate of participation.
What is the participation limit from one school?

NO LIMIT group participation from one school. Encouraged to send as many participants as possible.
Can a teacher be a mentor to more than 1 group?

Yes, but teachers need to Register at www.dec4ir.com using a different email address for each group. Please refer to the registration guide at https://bit.ly/3aRee4A.
My school teacher is not active, can parents be representatives of guidance for students?

Yes, but only for participants who are their own children. Please inform the secretariat (Dr. Nurwina, 018-210 6200) so that we can help.
Is the certificate of participation recognized at the national level?

Participants who successfully pass the initial screening stage will receive a state level certificate. Participants who make it to the final stage will get a national level certificate.
What do the participants have to do during the program going online?

The briefing session will be held on July 25, 2022. Please follow the announcement on the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/droneeduchallenge
